Ethereum RPC API

ETH · ethereum dialect

JSON-RPC to our own Ethereum full node, with one Olenza API key. Ethereum JSON-RPC 2.0: the gateway passes your call to the node and its answer back unchanged; it does not translate between dialects.

Ethereum JSON-RPC 2.0 on an Erigon archive node: state and traces are available at any height. eth_getLogs covers at most 10,000 blocks per call; trace_* on old blocks is slow.

Endpoint

POST https://node.olenza.io/v1/rpc/eth

Send the key in the X-API-Key header (or Authorization: Bearer). A batch is a JSON array of calls.

Example

curl https://node.olenza.io/v1/rpc/eth \
  -H "X-API-Key: $OLENZA_KEY" \
  --data '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_blockNumber","params":[]}'

The answer is the node's own JSON-RPC response. Errors from the gateway carry a stable error.data.reason — see the docs.

Available methods

35 methods

Only these methods are available; wallet, peer, node-control and UTXO-set scan methods are not. Signed transactions can be broadcast with eth_sendRawTransaction. Every call counts as one unit.
